E&C - Glen Ellen Farm

It's no secret that I love working at venues in Frederick and Glen Ellen Farm is one of my favorites located in Ijamsville - just a few minutes from downtown! E&C were ready to have fun and their style and colors were such a dream. I think they called the trend early > terracotta is going to be a huge color in 2023 and 2024!

It was a perfect September day and the epic style started with the ladies wearing the perfect terracotta color and the guys in head to toe black (def dreamy). Emily's dad even custom made their welcome sign (he and I had lots of fun getting it to stand straight but we did it!). Blossom and Basket Boutique accented and took the colors to a whole new level adding in different shades of burnt orange, burgundy, cream, and toffee. You can always count on that amazing team to pay such close attention to your colors and concept and they just make it come to life!

After their ceremony, which also had a handfasting ceremony, the guests went to the barn ruins for a delicious cocktail hour. Seriously, I am still dreaming about those seafood hors d'oeuvres. Emily and Conor got to have PICTURE PERFECT photos taken in Glen Ellen's garden, which is painstakingly cared for. The zinnias were at perfect bloom and I cant decide which photos are better > in the garden or by the pond!

Dinner was delicious, with a perfect view of the pond. Their centerpieces were simple and E&C brought color in again through small details. E&C had their cutting cake made by a family friend (and it was so cute)! Then did a bouquet toss and garter toss. Emily and her twin sister tried to ice Conor by hiding a Smirnoff under his chair but oh no! It was knocked over! Still, he took it in stride and drank it proudly.

The end of the night was super fun as we handed out sparklers and E&C got to say a final goodbye to their guests. Guests left on school buses which was just a precious final touch.
